Dr. Hesam Savadkoohi, Associate DVM

Dr. Hesam Savadkoohi graduated from the Veterinary Surgery residency program at Shiraz University in 2017.

Before finding his passion for practicing small animals in Canada, Dr. Savadkoohi and his wife had their own clinic in Iran. He’s also worked as a university lecturer in Iran, teaching advanced techniques to DVM students and interns. A supervisor of several doctorate theses, Dr. Savadkoohi has published numerous articles in the field of small animal medicine.📚

Dr. Savadkoohi worked at a busy small animal clinic in Alberta before coming to Ontario. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in small animal surgery, orthopedics, dentistry and internal medicine.

In his spare time, Dr. Savadkoohi enjoys spending time with his wife, Flora, who is also a veterinarian. He likes to keep active and enjoys outdoor activities, including walking, swimming, and playing soccer, as well as playing video games and reading different books and magazines (especially National Geographic)!🌎
