Practice Tour
Reception
Welcome to Thomas Glen Erin Animal Hospital. Our reception area is bright, clean and spacious with a retail corner that ensures prescription and medical diets for your beloved four-legged family members are readily available. Here, we assist you in reviewing prescriptions and scheduling appointments.
Exam Room 1
Our Exam Room 1 offers a warm, professional and comfortable place to examine your pets, discuss any concerns and go over client education materials. The exam room has a modular design, natural wood finish and soft pastel colours. When we designed the facility the one thing at the top of our minds was creating a pleasant experience for your visits to your vet in Mississauga.
Exam Room 2
Our Exam Room 2 is as comfortable and safe as Exam Room 1 and has been specially designed for our smaller patients with a tabletop weighing scale. All medical records are computerized and can be readily accessed anywhere in the hospital.
Treatment Area
The treatment area is where we prep your pet for surgery and do minor procedures. It is also the place where we carry out the daily treatment of hospitalized patients. The area has been designed in such a way that we can keep a close watch on our patients.
Surgery Suite
We use state-of-the-art monitoring machines that keep close track of your pet’s blood pressure, temperature, respiratory rate, pulse rate, ECG, and oxygen saturation during surgical procedures. Our surgical table is temperature-controlled and keeps your pet warm during surgery for their safety and general well-being.
Radiology Suite
It is our aim to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic services for our clients. Our digital x-ray equipment will generate accurate, fast and best-quality X-rays in a matter of three minutes, so the doctor can readily discuss the findings with you in the exam room.
Laboratory/Pharmacy Area
Our clean and highly organized laboratory and pharmacy area is a combined facility. Our laboratory can do complete blood counts, and biochemistry profiles and analyze electrolytes, fecalysis and urinalysis. The Pharmacy provides a wide range of veterinary drug products both preventive and therapeutic.
